The summer months are of course the ideal time to experience water sports. You can indulge in wind surfing, water ski-ing; jet ski-ing; paragliding; scuba diving, boat rides...and on the beaches of Almadraba and the well hidden Albufereta, when the conditions are right, surfing!
Alicante also has a wonderful marina with a sailing school where you can learn to crew yachts and if a smaller vessel is more your style, then have a go at kayaking!
In the winter you can experience the more gentle pursuit of fishing or don your wetsuit and have a go at more typical summer pursuits such as wind surfing.
If its waterparks then Aqualandia in Benidorm or the slightly smaller park in Torrevieja will be an excellent day out for the family.
